Conversational AI startup VerbaFlo has raised $7 million in a seed funding round led by Pi Labs. Other participants include Haatch, Navigate Ventures, Old College Capital, and the University of Edinburgh’s investment arm. Existing investors also joined the round, along with several global family offices. With this, the company’s total funding now stands at around $9 million.

Focus on real estate communication

Founded in October 2024, VerbaFlo develops AI tools for real estate operators. The platform helps automate leasing, operations, and resident communication. It is built as a vertical AI solution designed specifically for residential real estate.

Moreover, the platform integrates with existing systems. As a result, it helps streamline workflows across different stages of the resident lifecycle.

Growing global footprint

Currently, VerbaFlo supports more than 200,000 residential units worldwide. The company is also adding nearly 30,000 units each month. In addition, its platform can handle conversations in over 180 languages.

The company works with operators across the UK and Europe. At the same time, it has expanded into the United States. It is also exploring growth in regions such as the Middle East, Australia, South Africa, and other European markets.

Multi-agent AI approach

Unlike traditional chatbot tools, VerbaFlo uses multiple AI agents for different functions. These include leasing, marketing, finance, and maintenance. Each agent operates within live systems and performs specific tasks.

For example, the platform can qualify leads, respond to property queries, and schedule viewings. It can also automate follow-ups, manage maintenance requests, and update records in real time.

Centralized communication layer

The platform brings together communication from email, web chat, WhatsApp, and phone. Therefore, operators can respond faster and manage conversations across markets more efficiently.

In addition, the system acts as an operational layer for real estate businesses. It helps improve response time, reduce manual work, and increase conversion rates. It also provides better visibility across property portfolios.

Use of funds

VerbaFlo plans to use the funding to expand in the United States and other global markets. It will also invest in product development and team growth. The company aims to further build its AI-driven communication platform for real estate.

Today, VerbaFlo supports more than 40 use cases across enquiry management, lead qualification, bookings, onboarding and resident engagement. We are incredibly proud to have the backing of Pi Labs alongside an exceptional group of investors, and this investment will accelerate product development and expand our presence across the UK, US and European markets.”
