Generative AI video platform PixVerse has raised $300 million in a Series C funding round, pushing its valuation beyond $1 billion. With this milestone, the company has entered the unicorn club within two years of its launch.

The funding round was led by CDH Investments. Other participants included Antler, iGlobe Partners, and UOB Venture Management. The company plans to use the capital to expand its global presence and further develop its AI video technology.

The investment reflects the growing interest in tools that simplify video creation. Increasingly, creators, marketers, and businesses are using AI platforms to produce content without traditional production workflows.

Building AI Video Tools for Creators

PixVerse launched in 2023 as a generative video platform. The product allows users to create videos using text prompts, images, or existing clips.

Once a user provides an input, the platform generates a video automatically. As a result, users can produce content without expensive equipment or advanced editing skills.

This ease of use has contributed to the platform’s rapid adoption. At one stage, PixVerse reported more than 100 million users globally. The user base includes individual creators, brands, and marketing teams.

Users rely on the platform to produce short social media videos, marketing visuals, and animated scenes. Over time, the company has continued improving its AI models.

According to the company, recent updates have improved motion quality, visual realism, and prompt understanding. These improvements aim to make generated videos more accurate and visually consistent.

Growing Investor Interest in AI Media Tools

The latest funding highlights rising investor interest in generative AI companies. Businesses across sectors such as marketing, entertainment, gaming, and education are experimenting with AI-generated media.

As a result, startups that offer scalable content creation tools are attracting significant funding.

PixVerse had previously raised $60 million in a Series B round in September 2025. That round was led by Alibaba. The capital supported the expansion of the company’s AI video technology and international operations.

With the new funding, PixVerse plans to strengthen its technology and scale its platform globally.

Competing in the AI Video Generation Market

The AI video generation market has become increasingly competitive. Large technology companies and startups are building tools that automate parts of video production.

These platforms aim to simplify tasks such as scene creation, animation, lighting, and editing.

PixVerse focuses on an interactive video generation approach. Users can adjust how characters move or behave while the video is being generated.

This capability allows creators to guide the output more directly. As a result, users can experiment with storytelling formats such as branching narratives, animated scenes, and interactive advertisements.

Industry observers believe AI video tools could significantly change how content is produced. If the technology continues to improve, both individual creators and large companies may produce professional-quality videos without traditional production resources.

PixVerse’s growth suggests that AI-driven creative tools are gaining wider adoption across the content ecosystem.
