Israeli AI startup Wonderful has raised $150 million in a Series B funding round, valuing the company at $2 billion. The announcement comes only four months after the company secured $100 million in its Series A round.
The latest investment was led by Insight Partners. Existing investors also participated, including Index Ventures, IVP, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Vine Ventures. With this round, the company’s total funding has reached $286 million.
Expansion of Customer Service AI Platform
Founded just over a year ago, Wonderful develops AI agents designed for customer service operations. The company says it has seen growing demand across several industries. These include telecom, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Unlike many AI platforms that prioritize English-speaking markets, Wonderful focuses mainly on non-English-speaking regions. As a result, the company adapts its platform for each market it enters. This includes adjustments for language, cultural norms, and local regulations.
In addition, the startup deploys local teams to help businesses implement its technology. These teams work closely with customers to integrate AI tools into existing systems and workflows.
Deployment Strategy with Local Engineering Teams
Wonderful’s operating model includes sending engineering teams to work directly with enterprise clients. In some cases, these teams operate on-site during deployment.
According to the company, this approach helps ensure that the AI systems integrate smoothly with enterprise infrastructure. It also allows the platform to be adjusted for market-specific needs.
The company currently operates in 30 countries across Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Plans for Global Expansion
Wonderful plans to use the new capital to expand into additional markets. The company also intends to significantly increase its workforce.
At present, Wonderful employs around 300 people. However, the startup aims to expand its team to about 900 employees in the near term. This expansion will support its strategy of sending dedicated teams to enterprise customers during AI deployment.
“In 2026, enterprises will be deciding who to partner with to operationalize AI across their organizations, and those decisions will hinge on who can deliver deep integrations across complex infrastructures and tailor solutions to each organization’s unique environment,” Bar Winkler, CEO and co-founder of Wonderful, said in a statement. “We built our platform and operating model around that reality, and the demand we’re seeing globally reflects it. This capital allows us to expand our ability to support enterprises to do what they want with AI.”
