Belgium-based fintech startup Warren has raised €10 million in seed funding to support its expansion plans across Europe.
The funding round was led by Motive Partners. Existing and new investors including F Capital, Entourage, Syndicate One, and 100IN also participated in the round.
Focus on Growth and Expansion
Warren plans to use the new capital to strengthen its presence in Belgium and prepare for expansion into other European markets. The company also intends to hire around 30 employees as part of its next growth phase.
The startup operates in the workplace pension and financial wellness segment. It offers digital pension management services alongside financial coaching tools for employees.
Pension Platform Built Around Low-Cost Investment Products
Founded by Cedric De Vleeschauwer and David Du Pré, Warren operates “Warren Pension Fund OFP,” a pension fund regulated by Belgium’s Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA).
The platform follows a fixed corporate subscription model instead of traditional percentage-based asset management fees. Employer pension contributions are invested directly into low-cost equity and bond exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
According to the company, this structure is designed to provide a more transparent and cost-efficient pension solution for businesses and employees.
AI-Based Financial Coaching Features
Warren has also developed an AI-powered financial coaching application. The platform connects PSD2 banking data with information from Belgium’s Mypension.be system to provide employees with financial insights and pension-related guidance.
The company currently serves nearly 100 corporate clients in Belgium. Its client list includes Lighthouse, Yuki, Wintercircus, and Poppy Mobility.
Warren says the platform handles thousands of automated financial advisory interactions daily as demand for digital pension and employee financial wellness tools continues to grow.
