Journify, a data infrastructure startup focused on first-party data activation and Conversion API (CAPI) infrastructure, has raised $4 million in funding led by Silicon Badia, with participation from RZM and other strategic investors.

Founded in 2023 and headquartered in San Francisco and Dubai, Journify helps brands capture, validate and deliver conversion data to advertising platforms in real time. The company aims to improve the quality of marketing signals used by advertising platforms to optimise campaigns, particularly as digital marketing shifts towards privacy-first data practices and AI-driven advertising.

The fresh capital will support the company's mission to help brands improve conversion tracking, increase data accuracy and make advertising spend more effective.

Addressing fragmented marketing data

Brands increasingly rely on multiple advertising platforms to acquire customers, but fragmented data sources and incomplete conversion signals can make campaign measurement and optimisation difficult.

Journify addresses these challenges through infrastructure that captures first-party data from web, mobile, CRM and offline sources, validates it, and sends conversion signals directly to advertising platforms through server-side integrations.

Its platform focuses on three key areas: real-time signal delivery, higher match rates for improved targeting accuracy, and continuous data health monitoring to identify signal degradation before it affects campaign performance.

The company also highlights the rising cost of customer acquisition as a challenge for performance marketing teams. Its announcement notes that customer acquisition costs have increased by 200% over the past decade, increasing pressure on brands to improve the efficiency of their marketing data.

AI-powered conversion signal infrastructure

Journify embeds AI across its signal infrastructure to help brands improve data quality and advertising performance over time.

Current capabilities include real-time data health monitoring and alerts, match-rate diagnostics, and signal validation before delivery to advertising platforms.

The company plans to introduce predictive modelling and cross-channel performance intelligence as the platform develops further.

Journify operates between a brand's business data systems and advertising platforms, helping ensure that conversion information reaches the systems responsible for campaign optimisation.

Its integrations cover major advertising platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Snap, Google and Amazon.

Growing traction across the GCC

Since launching in March 2024, Journify has expanded its presence across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

According to the company, it reached $1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within nine months of launch. It has also migrated more than 80 brands across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The company says its infrastructure has helped brands such as Jarir Bookstore improve attributed purchases and return on ad spend (ROAS) following activation.

Journify-powered campaigns now reach millions of users across the GCC region. Its strategic partnerships with TikTok, Google, Snap and Amazon further support its ability to deliver conversion signals across major advertising ecosystems.

Silicon Badia leads the funding round

The $4 million funding round was led by Silicon Badia, with participation from RZM and other strategic investors.

Silicon Badia invests in technology startups across global markets, with investment activity spanning the United States and the Middle East. The firm has backed more than 100 technology startups across over 16 industries.

Hossam Shafick, an investor at Silicon Badia, described real-time data orchestration as a global opportunity, highlighting the growing need for better data infrastructure as businesses adopt AI-driven marketing and optimisation.

The investment thesis also draws on Silicon Badia's experience backing data companies such as Amplitude and InfluxData.

Founders and the road ahead

Journify was founded by Taoufik El Jamali, Omar Al Shoubaki and Amine Chouki. The founding team brings experience across technology, product development and sales, with professional backgrounds spanning companies including Smartsheet, Housecall Pro and InVision.

CEO and co-founder Taoufik El Jamali said the company was built to address the challenge of ensuring that conversion data reaches advertising platforms accurately and in real time.

With more than 80 brands migrated across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and partnerships spanning major advertising platforms, Journify is looking to strengthen its position in the data infrastructure market.

The latest funding will support its broader ambition to build the infrastructure layer that helps advertising platform AI systems optimise campaigns using more complete and reliable business data.
