Naïve, an AI infrastructure startup, has raised $28.5 million in Series A funding to expand its platform that enables AI agents to automate much of the work involved in creating and operating businesses.
The round was led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Y Combinator, Zetta, Liquid 2, and angel investors including Gokul Rajaram, Tim Zheng (Apollo.io co-founder), and JD Sherman (former HubSpot COO). The funding brings the company's total capital raised to approximately $32 million.
Founded by Sean Dorje, Naïve provides a unified API that allows AI agents to provision business infrastructure, including company formation, payment systems, email accounts, phone numbers, cloud infrastructure, databases, Stripe integrations, and QuickBooks connections. Human involvement is still required for compliance processes such as KYC and business verification.
The startup says it has attracted more than 30,000 developer customers within months of launch and has increased its annual run-rate revenue 10x over the past six months, reaching the low double-digit millions.
Naïve plans to use the new funding to expand its infrastructure platform by developing model routing, inference optimization, agent memory, governance tools, orchestration capabilities, and serverless runtimes that reduce the cost of deploying AI agents at scale.
The company currently has 10 employees and is targeting both independent developers building AI-native businesses and enterprises seeking to lower the operational costs of AI agents.
