Humanoid Secures $152 Million to Scale Robotics Platform
London-based robotics startup Humanoid has raised $152 million in funding at a $1.35 billion valuation, becoming the United Kingdom's newest robotics unicorn.
The funding round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from Bosch, Schaeffler, Aglaé Ventures, and Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital. The latest investment brings Humanoid's total funding to $270 million.
Developing AI-Powered Humanoid Robots
Founded in 2024 by Artem Sokolov, Humanoid develops wheeled and bipedal humanoid robots powered by its proprietary AI platform, KinetIQ. The company is focused on building robots for industrial applications across manufacturing, logistics, and retail.
Humanoid says it has already secured 34,000 pre-orders worth approximately $2.4 billion before commercial shipments begin.
Expanding Production and Commercial Deployment
The company plans to use the new funding to accelerate development of its next-generation robotics platform, begin mass production of its wheeled robots, and continue advancing its AI software.
As part of the partnership, Robert Bosch Robotics GmbH will serve as Humanoid's contract manufacturing partner while providing technical expertise in hardware design, production, and supply chain operations.
