Exclaim Robotics Emerges from Stealth with $4.95 Million Pre-Seed Funding

Zurich-based Exclaim Robotics has emerged from stealth after raising $4.95 million in pre-seed funding to develop AI-powered robots for automating data center maintenance.

The round was co-led by Playfair Capital and Founderful.

Building Robots for AI Data Centers

The company will use the funding to accelerate development of its autonomous robotic platform, designed to perform maintenance tasks inside live data centers while reducing manual labor and improving operational efficiency.

Automating Critical Infrastructure Maintenance

Founded by Helen Oleynikova, Exclaim Robotics develops autonomous robots capable of navigating data center environments and performing maintenance on server racks without requiring facility modifications.

The initial capabilities include:

• Cleaning and replacing fiber-optic connectors

• Replacing SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceivers

• Managing copper cabling

• Replacing failed storage drives

The robots are designed to work safely inside live, high-density server environments.

Founded by a Robotics Industry Veteran

Founder & CEO Helen Oleynikova previously spent 15 years working in robotics at Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Willow Garage, and ETH Zürich.

At ETH Zürich, she co-created nvblox, a 3D mapping and collision avoidance system that is now integrated into NVIDIA Isaac ROS.

She founded Exclaim Robotics after identifying the growing need for autonomous maintenance solutions as AI data centers become larger and more complex.
