EVERSION Secures €2.3 Million in Seed II Funding

Konstanz-based medtech startup EVERSION Technologies has raised €2.3 million in Seed II funding to expand its smart medical insole platform.

The round was led by Kammerer Holding and the Kreissparkasse Biberach Venture Capital Fund, which also led the company's Seed I round in early 2025.

The funding will support the commercialization of EVERSION's sensor-enabled insoles, which are designed to improve foot biomechanics and help address musculoskeletal pain.

Smart Insoles for Personalized Foot Biomechanics

EVERSION develops sensor-equipped medical insoles that work with a smartphone application to analyze a user's movement patterns over a two-week period.

Using the collected data, the platform creates a 3D biomechanical model and generates a personalized load profile. This information is used to manufacture a custom "0° insole", designed to restore the foot to a natural position and help alleviate back, hip, and knee pain.

Expanding Market Adoption

Since completing its Seed I funding in January 2025, EVERSION has:

  • Received CE certification as a medical device.

  • Entered the commercial market at the end of 2025.

  • Reached more than 1,500 customers, according to the company.

The product has also been included in prevention programs offered by Germany's statutory health insurers, allowing eligible customers to receive coverage through certified prevention courses. Privately insured users can also seek reimbursement through medical prescriptions.

The newly raised capital will be used to:

  • Expand sales and marketing

  • Grow the partner network

  • Accelerate market adoption
