Dili Secures $15 Million Series A, Bringing Total Funding to $21.7 Million

AI compliance startup Dili has raised $15 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $21.7 million following a previous $6.7 million Seed round.

The Series A round was led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Allianz, Rebel Fund, Darren Bechtel of Brick and Mortar Ventures, and Garry Tan of Y Combinator.

A graduate of Y Combinator's Summer 2023 batch, Dili develops AI-powered compliance software for infrastructure and construction projects, particularly those receiving federal funding in the United States.

Led by Co-founder and CEO Anand Chaturvedi, the company focuses on simplifying complex regulatory compliance across large-scale infrastructure developments.

Using AI to Automate Construction Compliance

Dili's platform helps organizations navigate overlapping regulatory requirements, including Davis-Bacon prevailing wage regulations, Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship (PWA) rules, as well as applicable OSHA and EPA compliance requirements.

The platform uses AI to convert unstructured documents into structured data before applying deterministic rule-based systems to evaluate compliance. According to the company, this approach reduces the risk of AI-generated inaccuracies while significantly shortening compliance workflows.

Tasks that previously required a full day of manual review can now be completed in minutes, according to Dili.

Supporting Large Infrastructure Projects

The company says its software is already being used across approximately 700 projects, including manufacturing facilities and data centers.

Around half of its customers use Dili as an internal software platform, while the remaining customers outsource compliance management directly to the company.

The newly raised funding will support continued expansion of Dili's AI compliance platform as infrastructure investment and construction activity continue to grow.
