Definic, formerly known as Nordics, has raised $2.9 million in a seed funding round led by J&T Ventures. Existing investors Seed Starter ČS and Slovak Investment Holding also participated in the round.
The funding follows the company's recent rebranding and will support its plans to strengthen product development, expand its software platform, and increase its presence across the DACH region, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Expanding Enterprise IT Procurement Capabilities
Definic develops a vendor intelligence platform designed to support enterprise IT procurement and tender management. The platform collects and analyzes data from vendor deliveries, case studies, and market pricing to help organizations make procurement decisions based on verified information.
The company focuses on improving efficiency in procurement processes while helping enterprises evaluate vendors and manage technology spending more effectively.
Supporting Faster Procurement Decisions
According to Definic, its platform has delivered measurable results for enterprise clients. One Central European banking group reportedly reduced its procurement tender cycle from six weeks to two weeks after implementing the solution.
In addition, the company stated that the same client achieved more than $1.3 million in verified external vendor cost savings during the first five months of 2026.
Plans for Growth
Definic was founded by Robert Dečman, Lukáš Řezanina, and Michal. The company plans to use the newly secured capital to accelerate product innovation and support its international expansion strategy.
As demand for data-driven procurement tools continues to grow, Definic aims to strengthen its position in the enterprise IT procurement market and expand its customer base across key international regions.
