Ahead Health Secures $10 Million to Support European Expansion

Zurich-based preventive healthcare startup Ahead Health has raised $10 million in funding to support its expansion into Germany and the Netherlands, marking its first markets outside Switzerland.

The round was led by 3VC and RTP Global.

Founded in Switzerland, Ahead Health develops an AI-powered preventive healthcare platform that combines advanced diagnostics with personalized health insights to help individuals identify potential health risks earlier.

Combining AI, Blood Testing, and Medical Imaging

Ahead Health's platform integrates:

• Advanced blood panels

• Whole-body MRI

• AI-powered health analysis

• Doctor-reviewed medical history and recommendations

Rather than relying on one-time health assessments, the platform tracks each member's health over time, comparing results against their personal baseline to identify meaningful changes.

According to the company, it has established a network of more than 20 partner centers across Switzerland since its launch.

Launching in Germany and the Netherlands

The expansion begins with preventive health check-ups in Munich, Germany, while customers in the Netherlands can join a waitlist ahead of a broader rollout planned for August.

Initially, the service focuses on comprehensive blood testing that evaluates:

• Metabolic health

• Inflammation markers

• Organ function

• Cardiovascular risk

Each result is reviewed by a licensed physician and accompanied by a personalized health action plan. The company said MRI services will be introduced in these markets in a later phase.

Ahead Health plans to continue partnering with local clinics, radiology centers, and physicians instead of building its own medical facilities, enabling faster expansion while leveraging local clinical expertise.
