telli Secures $15 Million Seed Funding

Berlin-based AI startup telli has raised $15 million in Seed funding to expand its AI-powered customer operations platform.

The round was led by redalpine, with participation from Cherry Ventures, Y Combinator, Mutschler, and several angel investors. The latest investment brings telli's total funding to $18.5 million.

Founded in 2024 by Finn zur Mühlen, Philipp Baumanns, and Seb Hapte-Selassie, telli develops AI agents that automate customer interactions across voice calls, WhatsApp, chat, and email.

Building AI Agents for Customer Operations

telli's platform enables businesses to automate customer conversations while supporting human teams with an AI assistant called Charlie, which reviews conversations and continuously improves agent performance.

The company says its AI agents already manage millions of customer conversations for enterprise clients including Sky, Enpal, Viessmann, and Vaillant.

According to telli, revenue has grown 9x year over year, although the company has not disclosed absolute revenue figures.

Expanding Across Europe

The new funding will be used to accelerate product development, grow the team, and expand across Europe before pursuing broader international growth.

The company is focused on helping businesses automate repetitive customer operations while allowing human teams to focus on complex customer relationships.
