Onyx Security Secures $113 Million in Series B Funding

Israeli cybersecurity startup Onyx Security has raised $113 million in Series B funding to accelerate the growth of its AI agent security platform.

The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners and reportedly values the company at approximately $640 million.

The latest investment comes just four months after Onyx emerged from stealth with $40 million in prior funding, bringing the company's total disclosed funding to $153 million.

Founded in 2024 by Maxim Bar Kogan and Gil Elbaz, Onyx develops software that helps enterprises secure, monitor, and govern AI agents.

Securing Enterprise AI Agents

Onyx Security's platform enables organizations to discover shadow AI across enterprise environments while monitoring AI prompts, responses, and agent actions.

The platform also applies real-time security, governance, and compliance controls, helping enterprises manage the growing adoption of AI agents while maintaining visibility and policy enforcement.

In June, Anthropic announced that it had integrated Onyx's technology to help enterprise customers deploy AI securely.

Expanding AI Security Capabilities

The newly raised funding will be used to:

  • Accelerate development of Onyx's AI models

  • Expand sales operations

  • Grow business development

  • Increase marketing efforts across the United States and other international markets

The investment supports Onyx Security's strategy of expanding enterprise AI security as organizations continue deploying autonomous AI agents.
