Journify, a privacy-first advertising data infrastructure startup, has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round at four times its previous valuation, as it looks to expand into the United States and Europe and strengthen its AI-powered advertising platform.

The round was led by Al Mada Ventures and co-led by returning investor Silicon Badia. Existing investors Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their investments, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new investors.

Founded in 2022, Journify builds infrastructure that helps businesses capture, validate and deliver first-party customer data to advertising platforms. The company aims to improve the quality of conversion signals used by advertising algorithms to optimise marketing campaigns.

According to Silicon Badia, Journify's revenue has grown more than fivefold since its previous investment, while its valuation has increased by more than four times.

Addressing the data gap in digital advertising

Advertising platforms rely on customer conversion signals to understand which campaigns generate purchases, registrations and other business outcomes.

However, browser restrictions, fragmented tracking systems and disconnected offline sales can prevent businesses from sharing complete customer information with advertising platforms.

Journify addresses this problem through a privacy-first data infrastructure layer that connects information from websites, mobile applications, customer relationship management systems, ecommerce platforms, backend systems, offline sales and data warehouses.

The platform validates and enriches conversion events before delivering consented first-party signals to advertising platforms through server-side integrations.

Its integrations include Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads.

The goal is to give advertising algorithms a more complete picture of customer behaviour so they can optimise campaigns based on actual business outcomes rather than incomplete tracking data.

More than 100 businesses use the platform

Journify says more than 100 businesses currently use its platform, ranging from growing ecommerce companies to major regional retailers. These customers collectively represent hundreds of millions of dollars in annual advertising spend.

The company highlighted results from two customers in its announcement.

Saudi retailer Jarir Bookstore increased its return on ad spend (ROAS) on Meta by 182% after implementing Journify's infrastructure.

Saudi ecommerce brand Baytonia improved its TikTok ROAS by 80% while reducing its cost per purchase by 44%.

These figures are customer results reported by Journify and illustrate how improved conversion signals can influence advertising campaign performance.

Expanding AI capabilities across advertising infrastructure

Journify already uses AI to monitor data connections, identify signal-quality issues and help resolve problems before they affect advertising performance.

Its AI Insights product also allows businesses to ask questions about advertising performance and obtain insights from their data.

The company plans to expand these capabilities with the latest funding, moving beyond data collection and signal delivery towards more advanced advertising intelligence.

CEO and co-founder Taoufik El Jamali believes advertising AI can only perform effectively when it receives reliable information about customer behaviour and business outcomes.

The company's broader vision is to help advertising platforms understand which customers generate long-term value for individual businesses, rather than optimising campaigns only around clicks or immediate conversions.

Investors back global expansion

Al Mada Ventures led the Series A, with Silicon Badia serving as co-lead and returning investor. Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their investments, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined the company as new investors.

Hossam Shafick, partner at Silicon Badia, said the company's revenue growth and valuation increase had strengthened the firm's confidence in Journify's potential to become a global player in advertising data infrastructure.

The funding will support expansion beyond the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), with the United States and Europe identified as key target markets.

The opportunity is particularly significant in the US, where digital advertising revenue reached $294.6 billion in 2025, according to figures from IAB and PwC cited by Journify.

Ryan Burke, a newly appointed member of Journify's board and a three-time Chief Revenue Officer, will support the company's US expansion.

Founders and the road ahead

Journify was founded by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Dubai and Riyadh.

Its platform connects customer data across multiple business systems and advertising channels while supporting consent-based signal activation and privacy requirements.

Journify has also obtained a SOC 2 Type II report and says it is committed to GDPR compliance.

With more than 100 businesses using its infrastructure and revenue growing over fivefold, the company is now preparing to expand into larger advertising markets.

The $12 million Series A will support that next phase while strengthening its AI capabilities and positioning Journify to compete in the global market for advertising data infrastructure.
