Mach42 Secures £7 Million to Advance AI-Driven Circuit Simulation

Oxford-based semiconductor AI startup Mach42 has raised £7 million in Pre-Series A funding to accelerate the development of its AI-powered analog circuit simulation technology.

The funding round was led by IP Group plc, with participation from BGF and Foresight Group.

Improving Analog and Mixed-Signal Verification

Mach42 develops AI and machine learning technology that accelerates analog and mixed-signal verification for semiconductor design. Its platform creates high-accuracy surrogate models from minimal data, helping semiconductor companies reduce simulation time, lower computational costs, and shorten chip development cycles.

The company's technology can automatically export models in Verilog-A, SystemVerilog, and C/C++ formats, enabling integration with industry-standard simulation tools.

Expanding Engineering and Commercial Growth

The company plans to use the new funding to expand its engineering and business development teams while accelerating commercial adoption of its technology.

Mach42 is initially focused on power management semiconductor devices, where faster simulation can improve design quality and reduce development costs.
