Lyon-based cybersecurity company Hackuity has raised $19 million in new funding to expand its AI-powered vulnerability management platform as organizations face a growing gap between the number of security vulnerabilities being discovered and their ability to remediate them.
The round was led by Forgepoint Capital International, with existing investors Bright Pixel, Bpifrance and Seventure Partners also participating. The latest financing brings Hackuity's total funding to $38 million.
The company was founded by Patrick Ragaru, CEO, and Pierre Samson, co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer.
Turning Vulnerability Overload Into Action
Hackuity focuses on a problem that has become increasingly difficult for enterprise security teams: deciding which vulnerabilities actually need to be fixed first.
The platform connects with more than 130 security tools and consolidates vulnerability and asset information into a single view. It then evaluates findings using factors including severity, exploitability, threat intelligence, asset importance and potential business impact.
Rather than simply presenting security teams with a long list of vulnerabilities, Hackuity prioritises the issues that represent the greatest risk and coordinates remediation efforts.
From an Excel-Based Problem to a Global Platform
Hackuity's origins came from its founders' experience managing cybersecurity services.
According to Pierre Samson, vulnerability management was heavily dependent on manual work and spreadsheets when he was managing security services in 2016. After failing to find a suitable market solution, Samson and Ragaru decided to build their own.
The company has since developed a platform capable of handling large-scale vulnerability data across enterprise environments.
Hackuity says its customers now include organizations with Fortune 500-level operations, including ENGIE and BPCE. Orange Cyberdefense, where the founders previously worked, is also a go-to-market partner.
1 Billion Findings Across 2 Million Assets
Hackuity says its platform currently handles approximately 1 billion vulnerability findings across 2 million assets and serves more than 6,000 users.
The company reports that its approach has reduced critical vulnerability alerts to 0.01%, increased remediation speed by three times and automated up to 70% of exposure management.
Hackuity also says customers can save as much as $1 million through improved vulnerability prioritisation and remediation workflows.
AI Is Increasing the Scale of the Problem
The urgency around vulnerability management has grown alongside the capabilities of AI systems.
Hackuity points to an April 2026 test involving Anthropic's Mythos model, where a small number of partners reportedly discovered more than 10,000 high- or critical-severity vulnerabilities across their codebases in just two months. Hackuity notes that 99% of those vulnerabilities remained unpatched.
For security teams, the challenge is therefore shifting from simply discovering vulnerabilities to determining which findings deserve immediate attention and getting them fixed before they become exploitable.
Expanding Across Europe, the US and Asia
Hackuity employs more than 40 people, with its main team based in Lyon and a go-to-market office in Singapore.
The company continues to expand integrations with security tools from American and Israeli vendors, with more than 130 connectors already available.
The latest funding will support further development of the platform, expansion of the company's team and continued growth in the vulnerability and exposure management market.
Hackuity is also positioning its European base and vendor-neutral approach as part of its value proposition for organizations looking for vulnerability management independent of larger security software suites.
