Pune-based deeptech company Aeron Systems has raised Rs 45 crore ($4.7 million) in a Pre-Series B funding round jointly led by Riverwalk Holdings and MGF-Kavachh, also known as MountTech Growth Fund.

The fresh capital will help Aeron Systems expand its manufacturing capacity, accelerate research and development, develop new products and meet growing customer demand. The company also plans to use the funding to strengthen its presence in international markets.

Building Technology for Aerospace and Defence

Founded by Ashvani Shukla and Abhijeet Bokil, Aeron Systems develops navigation, weather sensing and monitoring technologies for aerospace, defence and industrial applications.

The company's product portfolio includes inertial navigation systems, air data computers, weather sensing solutions, flight test instrumentation, avionics, and positioning, navigation and timing technologies.

These technologies are designed for applications where accurate navigation, sensing and monitoring are critical.

Supporting Aircraft and Unmanned Platforms

Aeron Systems' products are used across a range of platforms, including aircraft, helicopters, unmanned systems, missiles, armoured vehicles and naval platforms.

Its navigation and avionics technologies are aimed at supporting mission-critical applications where reliability and precision are essential.

The company has continued expanding its capabilities across aerospace and defence as demand grows for locally developed technology and advanced systems.

Expanding Manufacturing and R&D

The new funding will allow Aeron Systems to increase its manufacturing capabilities while investing further in research and development.

The company plans to develop additional products and technologies to address the requirements of existing and new customers.

Increasing production capacity will also allow Aeron to respond to customer demand as it expands its presence across different markets.

Moving Into Renewable Energy

Beyond aerospace and defence, Aeron Systems is also developing technology for renewable energy applications.

The company is working on solutions for utility-scale solar projects that combine hardware and software to support renewable energy operations.

This expansion provides Aeron with an opportunity to apply its sensing, monitoring and technology capabilities beyond its traditional aerospace and defence markets.

Strengthening International Presence

Aeron Systems is also focused on expanding its international customer base.

The company plans to use part of the fresh capital to strengthen its presence in overseas markets while continuing to build relationships with customers across aerospace, defence and industrial sectors.

The expansion comes as demand increases for advanced navigation, avionics and sensing technologies across both commercial and strategic applications.

Fresh Capital to Support the Next Phase

The Rs 45 crore Pre-Series B round gives Aeron Systems additional resources to scale manufacturing, accelerate product development and expand internationally.

With its portfolio spanning navigation, avionics, weather sensing and monitoring technologies, the company is positioning itself to grow across aerospace, defence, industrial and renewable energy applications.
