New Delhi-based kitchen and lifestyle brand Cüraa has raised Rs 40 crore in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital, with participation from existing investors Kae Capital, Lumikai, and Better Capital. ValueBridge Capital, a Merisis company, advised on the transaction.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its portfolio across pre-cook and cooking categories, strengthen its warehousing and supply chain infrastructure, and scale its presence across direct-to-consumer (D2C), marketplaces, and quick commerce. It will also hire senior executives across key functions.

Founded in 2024 by chef and content creator Sanjyot Keer and entrepreneur Neeraj Kumawat, Cüraa makes kitchen appliances and tools designed for Indian cooking use cases.

Cüraa has served more than three lakh households since launching in September 2024. Its monthly net revenue has grown 25 times since launch, while the company is currently adding around 25,000 to 30,000 customers every month.

The brand sells through its website, Amazon, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart, with Amazon accounting for the largest share of its sales.

Cüraa follows an India-first manufacturing model, with most value addition taking place domestically. Some components are sourced overseas to optimise costs and supply chain efficiency.

“The investment allows us to accelerate that vision and help more Indian households cook better,” said Sanjyot Keer, who also runs the food content platform Your Food Lab.

Kumawat said the fresh capital will help Cüraa strengthen product development, supply chain, customer experience, and distribution as it scales.

Raj Shamani is associated with Cüraa as a strategic adviser, supporting consumer reach, brand amplification, and strategy.

The company will focus on expanding its product portfolio and strengthening operations around quality, availability, and customer service as it scales its presence across India's growing kitchen and lifestyle market.
