New Delhi-based wealth management firm Nexedge Capital has raised $20 million in its maiden funding round led by Mirae Asset Venture Investment and Elev8 Venture Partners.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen Nexedge’s technology platform, expand its senior banker network and increase its presence across India, including tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

Founded by Anirudha Taparia in February 2025, Nexedge provides wealth management and multi-family office services covering investments, portfolio management, estate planning, business expansion and global mobility.

The company focuses on managing a family’s overall net worth rather than only its investible assets, serving high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and corporates.

Nexedge claims to have surpassed $3 billion in assets under management across around 1,300 clients within 18 months of starting operations.

The company has onboarded more than 95 senior bankers and expects another 50 to 60 bankers to join in 2026.

Taparia previously served as co-founder and Joint CEO of 360 ONE Wealth. He is joined at Nexedge by co-founders Sidhartha Shaw, Vijeeta Sharma and Pankaj Walia, alongside 15 founding partners with experience across Citibank, Kotak Wealth, 360 ONE and Standard Chartered.

Nexedge plans to use the new funding to build a dedicated NRI proposition and launch an NBFC business, alongside expanding its technology and distribution capabilities.

The company’s expansion comes as Indian wealthtech continues to attract investor interest, with startups across wealth management, investment platforms and financial advisory raising significant capital.

Nexedge’s strategy combines technology with a large senior banker network as it looks to build a nationwide wealth management platform serving affluent families and businesses.
