InstaAstro Raises $12M in Series A Funding
Gurugram-based digital spiritual wellness platform InstaAstro has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from the company’s founders.
The latest funding comes more than two years after InstaAstro raised $2.2 million in a pre-Series A round led by Artha Venture Fund. The company had previously raised Rs 3.2 crore in a seed round in November 2021.
The fresh capital will be used to expand InstaAstro’s presence across regional and international markets while accelerating the development of AI-led products.
From Astrology App to Spiritual Wellness Platform
Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro initially launched as an astrology consultation app before expanding into a broader digital spiritual wellness platform.
Today, its offerings include astrology consultations, tarot, numerology, vastu, Pooja Seva, and spiritual commerce.
The platform has more than 12 million registered users and over 5,000 verified experts across 183 countries, giving the company a significant base of both consumers and spiritual service providers.
Expanding AI-Powered Consultations
InstaAstro plans to use AI across its platform to improve the user consultation experience.
The company intends to deploy AI for sentiment analysis and multilingual support, helping users communicate more effectively with experts and making its services accessible across a wider range of languages and markets.
The company is also looking to expand its Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce businesses as it builds a broader ecosystem around users’ spiritual needs.
Strong Revenue and International Growth
InstaAstro’s revenue more than doubled to Rs 111.26 crore in FY26 from Rs 52 crore in FY25.
Its international business, driven largely by the Indian diaspora, currently contributes around 25% of total revenue. The company also says its user base has grown nearly 400% over the past two years.
InstaAstro claims its annualised revenue has now crossed Rs 200 crore, highlighting the rapid growth of its platform and expansion beyond its original astrology consultation offering.
Building an Integrated Spiritual Platform
The company’s longer-term ambition is to bring consultation, rituals, discovery, and commerce together within a single platform.
By expanding its product portfolio and adding AI-powered capabilities, InstaAstro aims to become an integrated destination for users throughout their spiritual journeys rather than remaining focused solely on astrology consultations.
The company competes with platforms including GaneshaSpeaks, AstroTalk, Click Astro, Astroyogi, and Bodhi.
With its latest funding, InstaAstro will focus on expanding into new markets, strengthening its AI capabilities, and scaling its spiritual commerce and Pooja Seva offerings.
