TrucksUp Raises $8.2M to Scale AI-Powered Logistics
Gurugram-based logistics platform TrucksUp has raised $8.2 million in a growth funding round at a post-money valuation of $42.3 million. The round included institutional investors, family offices, and co-founders Sarthak Shah Elwadhi and Aviraj Singh Chadha, who have increased their stake in the company.
The fresh capital will be used to scale TrucksUp’s technology and fleet solutions as the company expands its role in India’s traditional trucking ecosystem.
Building a Digital Freight Marketplace
Founded in 2022 by Sarthak Shah Elwadhi and Aviraj Singh Chadha, TrucksUp is an AI-driven digital freight marketplace that connects truck owners, fleet operators and drivers directly with businesses requiring freight transportation.
Its AI-enabled algorithms match available trucks with verified loads in real time, helping reduce reverse-loading wait times and improve fleet utilisation.
The platform also provides a single dashboard for GPS tracking, digital document management and shipment monitoring, giving businesses and fleet operators greater visibility across freight operations.
Expanding Services for Trucking Businesses
Beyond freight matching, TrucksUp offers FASTag solutions, smart fuel programmes, insurance support and vehicle financing. The company also facilitates the buying and selling of new and pre-owned commercial vehicles.
TrucksUp has also introduced safety initiatives, health check-up camps and its “Apna Ghar” network along major transportation corridors, providing drivers with access to safe parking and rest facilities.
The company has partnered with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Indian Highways Management Company Ltd (IHMCL) to enable real-time driver feedback and road updates.
Supporting Fleet Owners Across India
TrucksUp has formed a strategic alliance to provide vehicle financing and capital access to transporters and fleet owners in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
The latest funding comes as investors show increasing interest in AI-led logistics and freight technology, with startups such as FreightFox and Mojro Technologies also raising capital to expand their platforms.
