Paris-based quantum software company ColibriTD has raised €4 million in a Seed funding round to scale its quantum-powered multiphysics simulation platform and expand its work with industrial enterprises.
The round was led by Earlybird Venture Capital, with participation from SymbiaVC and Medin VC. The new funding follows Earlybird's earlier €1 million pre-Seed investment in the company.
Founded in Paris in 2019 by Laurent Guiraud and Hacène Goudjil, ColibriTD is developing software designed to help industries solve complex mathematical and engineering problems using quantum computing.
Building Quantum Software for Industrial Simulation
ColibriTD's platform focuses on multiphysics simulation, an area used to model complex physical systems involving multiple interacting forces and phenomena.
At the center of the company's technology is H-DES, or Hybrid Differential Equation Solver, a proprietary variational quantum algorithm designed to solve partial differential equations (PDEs).
