Bengaluru-based wearable technology company Ultrahuman has raised $70 million in a new funding round led by Qualcomm Ventures, with participation from Labcorp, Alpha Wave, Blume Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, Alteria and other investors.
The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development across sensing technology, artificial intelligence, miniaturised electronics, health algorithms, clinical science and research.
From wearable health to human-computer interfaces
Founded by Mohit Kumar and Vatsal Singhal, Ultrahuman initially built its business around wearable health technology. The founders previously launched logistics startup Runnr, which was acquired by Zomato in 2017.
Ultrahuman is now looking to expand beyond traditional wearables and become a human-computer interface company built around data collected from the human body.
Its ecosystem combines data from products including the Ultrahuman Ring, Blood Vision, M1 and M2 Live continuous glucose monitoring systems, Ultrahuman Home and the Jade AI system.
Together, these products are designed to capture physiological, biochemical, metabolic and environmental signals that can provide users with deeper insights into their health and performance.
Expanding AI and health research
The company is also investing in research initiatives designed to turn its growing health-data ecosystem into broader applications.
One example is Pulsomics, an opt-in platform that allows Ultrahuman Ring users to participate in health studies. Current research programmes focus on areas including sleep, VO₂ Max and glucose metabolism.
Its platform also includes features such as AFib Detection, Cycle & Ovulation Pro and cardiovascular fitness age, alongside PowerPlugs that add additional health-focused capabilities.
The new funding will support further development across sensing, AI and clinical research as Ultrahuman expands its technology platform.
Strong financial performance
Ultrahuman reported revenue of Rs 565 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 73 crore in FY25.
The company had previously raised $35 million in Series B funding and $17.5 million in Series A funding in October 2022. Earlier estimates placed the company's post-money valuation at approximately $363 million following the latest round, representing a significant increase from its previous Series B valuation.
With its latest $70 million raise, Ultrahuman is aiming to strengthen its global presence while building a broader technology platform around continuous data generated by the human body.
