Israeli-Dutch AI startup Wonderful has raised $550 million in Series C funding at a valuation of $5 billion, more than doubling its valuation in less than six months.

The latest round highlights the rapidly increasing investor appetite for enterprise AI platforms as companies look to deploy AI agents across customer service, workflows and broader business operations.

Wonderful's latest funding round was led by Insight Partners, which also led the company's previous financing.

Existing investors including Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners participated again. Salesforce also invested in the company for the first time.

The new funding comes less than six months after Wonderful raised $150 million in a Series B round at a $2 billion valuation.

The latest transaction brings the company's valuation to $5 billion, representing a more than 150% increase from its previous valuation.

From Customer Service AI to an Enterprise AI Operating System

Founded in early 2025, Wonderful initially gained traction through AI agents designed for customer service.

The company focused heavily on non-English-speaking markets and customised its technology for different customers and regions. Its approach also included forward-deployed engineers who work directly with customers, sometimes on-site, to integrate AI systems into existing workflows.

Wonderful says it now operates across more than 35 countries.

The company has since expanded beyond customer service with a broader platform called Wonderful AI OS.

Wonderful AI OS

Wonderful describes its AI OS as a platform designed to coordinate and connect AI agents, workflows and applications with a company's data, context and existing integrations.

The platform is designed to work across different AI models and integrate with existing technology stacks rather than requiring companies to replace their current systems.

Customers can choose which components of the platform they want to adopt, connect them to existing infrastructure and select different AI models depending on the workload.

This positioning moves Wonderful from being primarily an AI customer-service provider toward becoming a broader enterprise AI infrastructure platform.

Forward-Deployed Engineers Remain Central

One of Wonderful's key strategies has been its use of forward-deployed engineers, or FDEs.

Rather than simply selling software and leaving customers to handle implementation themselves, these engineers work closely with companies to deploy and integrate AI products into existing systems.

The approach has become increasingly important as enterprises move from experimenting with AI to deploying agents and automated workflows in production environments.

Wonderful plans to expand its FDE teams using the latest funding.

How Wonderful Plans to Use the $550M

The company said the new capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand its forward-deployed engineering teams and meet growing demand for its enterprise AI products.

The funding gives Wonderful significant resources to continue developing its AI OS while expanding its presence across international markets.

The company's rapid valuation growth also reflects the broader competition to build enterprise platforms capable of coordinating multiple AI agents, models and workflows.

Enterprise AI Race Accelerates

Wonderful is entering an increasingly competitive enterprise AI market where startups and established technology companies are competing to become the infrastructure layer connecting businesses with AI.

Its strategy of combining a flexible AI platform with hands-on engineering support gives it a differentiated approach to enterprise deployment.

With a $5 billion valuation only months after its previous $2 billion mark, Wonderful is now one of the more closely watched AI startups in the enterprise software market.
