OneByZero, a Singapore-based enterprise AI startup, has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Jungle Ventures. The round marks the company's first external funding and comes as large businesses across Asia increasingly move from experimenting with artificial intelligence to integrating AI directly into their core operations.

The fresh capital will support OneByZero's expansion across its existing markets, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam. The company also plans to establish a team in Japan and expand its enterprise AI solutions into new sectors, particularly healthcare and the public sector.

Building AI Systems for Large Enterprises

Founded in 2023, OneByZero works with large businesses to develop and deploy AI systems within their existing operations. Its approach goes beyond providing standalone software. The company's engineers work alongside customers to understand their operational requirements, build AI solutions and continuously improve those systems over time.

This model is particularly focused on industries where businesses manage large amounts of data and complex technology infrastructure.

OneByZero currently works primarily with customers in financial services, telecommunications and retail. These sectors have been among the major areas of enterprise AI adoption as businesses look for ways to automate processes, modernise data infrastructure and improve customer interactions.

The company has also developed NEO, its platform designed to help businesses manage and control AI agents.

NEO Platform Brings AI Agents Into Enterprise Operations

AI agents are becoming increasingly important for businesses looking to automate tasks that traditionally require human intervention. However, deploying these systems inside large organisations also creates challenges around control, oversight and integration with existing processes.

OneByZero's NEO platform is designed to address this challenge by helping businesses manage AI agents while maintaining greater visibility into how those systems operate.

The agents can perform specific tasks while working alongside human employees. This allows businesses to incorporate AI into existing workflows rather than treating AI as an isolated technology layer.

The company said its revenue has more than doubled every year over the past three years.

OneByZero also reported strong results from some of its enterprise deployments. Certain AI implementations have automated more than 90% of customer interactions, while some data-modernisation projects have been completed up to 50% faster.

These results highlight the type of operational improvements the company is targeting as enterprises increasingly move beyond AI pilots.

Expanding Across Asia and Into Japan

The new $20 million funding will allow OneByZero to expand its engineering teams across its existing markets.

Japan is expected to become an important part of the company's next stage of expansion, with OneByZero planning to establish a local team there.

The company is also looking to enter new industries. Healthcare and the public sector are among the areas it plans to target as it expands its enterprise AI offering.

This strategy reflects a broader shift in enterprise AI adoption. Instead of focusing exclusively on technology companies, AI providers are increasingly targeting large organisations in industries where complex workflows, large datasets and legacy systems create opportunities for automation.

Developing More Flexible AI Solutions

Alongside geographic expansion, OneByZero plans to invest further in NEO and develop industry-specific AI solutions.

The company is also working on applications that can use open-weight AI models and smaller language models. This could give enterprise customers more flexibility when selecting the technology that powers their AI systems.

For large organisations, the ability to choose different AI models can be important because requirements around cost, performance, data handling and deployment environments can vary significantly between use cases.

OneByZero's strategy is therefore focused not only on deploying AI models, but on integrating those models into the broader systems and processes that businesses already operate.

CEO Niket Vaidya's Enterprise AI Vision

Niket Vaidya, CEO and co-founder of OneByZero, said the company believes AI creates the most value when it is built into the systems businesses already use and operates according to their rules.

That approach is central to OneByZero's positioning. Rather than asking enterprises to completely change how they operate, the company is building AI systems around existing business processes.

The strategy could become increasingly relevant as organisations move from proof-of-concept projects toward larger-scale AI deployments.

Jungle Ventures Backs Enterprise AI Expansion

Jungle Ventures' investment comes amid growing investor interest in enterprise AI companies across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The venture capital firm has investments across India and Southeast Asia and focuses on technology companies at different stages of growth.

The OneByZero investment also arrives as startup funding activity in Southeast Asia shows signs of recovery, although capital remains concentrated in a relatively small number of larger deals.

For OneByZero, the Series A provides capital to expand its engineering capabilities, strengthen its presence in existing markets and build operations in new geographies.

Moving From AI Experiments to AI Operations

The next stage of OneByZero's growth will focus on turning enterprise AI adoption into repeatable operational systems.

With expansion planned across Asia, a new presence in Japan and ambitions in healthcare and the public sector, the company is positioning NEO and its engineering-led approach as infrastructure for businesses moving from AI experimentation toward everyday use.

The $20 million Series A gives OneByZero additional resources to pursue that strategy while continuing to develop AI-agent management and industry-specific solutions.

As enterprises increasingly look for practical ways to integrate AI into their operations, OneByZero is betting that the biggest opportunity will not simply be building better AI models, but making those models work reliably inside the complex systems that large businesses already depend on.
