Health Force Raises €4.2M to Expand AI Agents Across European Hospitals

Vienna-based Health Force has raised €4.2 million in seed funding to expand its AI agents across hospitals in Europe.

The round was led by LUMO Labs, with participation from existing investors Target Global and Calm/Storm Ventures, alongside Step Venture and Next Tier Ventures. The company plans to use the funding to expand into France, Spain, and Germany, develop additional AI agents, build local deployment teams, and strengthen its platform.

AI agents that work inside legacy hospital systems

Health Force was founded in 2022 by Fadi Haddad, CEO, and Juan Sebastián Suárez Valencia, a doctor and data engineer who previously served as Chief Data Officer at Teladoc France.

The company was built around a challenge common across European hospitals: many legacy hospital systems lack APIs, making traditional software integrations difficult.

Instead of requiring hospitals to replace their existing systems or build new integrations, Health Force's agents log into hospital software using their own usernames and passwords and perform operational tasks directly.

The platform focuses on administrative and operational workflows rather than primarily clinical applications.

Automating insurance claims

Health Force's technology is already being used by major private hospital groups in Italy.

The company says its agents can process three out of four insurance claims from start to finish without human intervention. Claims that require human review are returned to staff with specific instructions about what needs to be checked.

Health Force initially worked with Deloitte to deploy its platform at hospitals including Humanitas Research Hospital and Ospedale Galeazzi of Gruppo San Donato. The company says it became a development partner managing more than 200,000 patient cases annually.

It has also deployed its platform at ULS Coimbra in Portugal for government quality reporting.

Expanding across Europe

Health Force currently has eight employees and plans to double its team to 16 by the end of 2026, hiring across Germany, Italy, Spain, and France.

The company plans to develop additional agents, including one focused on clinical trial operations, while establishing local deployment teams consisting of a deployment strategist and engineer in each market.

Health Force says the European hospital AI market is increasingly moving toward agent-based automation as healthcare organizations look to reduce repetitive administrative work without replacing their existing technology infrastructure.
