Firmus Technologies Raises $2 Billion Investment

Firmus Technologies has secured $2 billion in strategic equity investment to expand its AI infrastructure capabilities.

The round included participation from Coatue, Nvidia, and Blackstone, signaling strong investor confidence in the company’s position within the AI infrastructure space.

The funding will support the rollout of its Project Southgate AI Factory in Australia, designed to enhance large-scale AI computing capacity and system performance.

Firmus is building infrastructure based on Nvidia’s DSX AI Factory Reference Architecture, focusing on improved efficiency, performance, and scalability for enterprise AI workloads.

The company also plans to establish a 360MW AI Factory campus in Indonesia to expand its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region and serve global enterprise and AI-native clients.
