Bengaluru-based AI startup Desible.ai has raised Rs 32 crore in a seed-plus funding round led by Prime Venture Partners, with participation from existing investor Invention Engine.

The fresh capital will help the company expand its agentic AI capabilities, strengthen its compliance infrastructure and accelerate product development for the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector.

Founded in 2025 by Uttam Tiwari and Omkar Raikar, Desible.ai provides an agentic workflow orchestration platform designed for banks, NBFCs and insurance companies.

AI agents for financial services

Desible.ai's platform helps financial institutions automate customer engagement, servicing, operations and compliance workflows.

The company started with voice-based interactions and is expanding its platform across WhatsApp, SMS and email.

Its workflows are designed around predefined rules and deterministic decision-making. This allows financial institutions to control how disclosures, customer consent and escalation processes are handled.

The approach is particularly relevant for BFSI companies, where automated systems need to operate within strict compliance and audit requirements.

Rather than allowing an AI agent to make unrestricted decisions, Desible.ai's workflows are designed so that specific actions follow predetermined rules.

More than 40 BFSI institutions

Desible.ai currently works with more than 40 BFSI institutions.

Its platform runs over 25 agentic workflows covering areas including revenue, risk and compliance, collections, underwriting, customer service and insurance claims.

The company says its platform handles more than 1 crore customer engagements every month.

These engagements are integrated with existing enterprise systems, allowing financial institutions to incorporate the AI workflows into their current operations.

From voice AI to broader agentic workflows

Voice remains an important part of Desible.ai's platform, but the company is expanding beyond phone conversations.

Its technology is being applied to use cases such as collections, lead qualification, renewal management, claims intimation, welcome calls, TeleMER and cross-selling.

This gives the company a broader opportunity than simply automating customer calls.

For financial institutions, many customer workflows involve multiple steps. A customer may need to be contacted, verified, informed about disclosures, have a decision made according to predefined rules and then be escalated to a human if required.

Desible.ai is positioning its agentic workflow platform to coordinate these processes.

Compliance is central to the product

Financial institutions face strict requirements around customer communication, consent and disclosures.

Desible.ai's platform is built around deterministic decision-making to address this challenge.

The company's workflows can define when disclosures must be provided, when customer consent is required and when a conversation or process needs to be escalated to a human.

The company is now using the new funding to strengthen this compliance infrastructure further.

That could become an important differentiator as more banks, NBFCs and insurers experiment with AI agents.

New funding for expansion

Prime Venture Partners led the Rs 32 crore round, while existing investor Invention Engine also participated.

Desible.ai plans to use the capital to expand its agentic AI capabilities, develop its product platform and strengthen its infrastructure for regulated financial services.

The company is also expanding the range of channels supported by its technology.

With more than 40 BFSI institutions already using the platform and over 1 crore customer engagements processed each month, the startup now has a base from which to scale.

The next stage will be about moving from individual automated workflows toward larger, connected AI-driven operations across financial institutions.

For Desible.ai, the opportunity is not simply to build AI agents that can talk to customers.

It is to build AI systems that can execute financial-services workflows while remaining predictable, auditable and compliant.
