Delhi-based refurbished electronics platform ReFit Global has raised $1 million in a seed funding round from a UAE-based family office. The company, which was also featured on Shark Tank India Season 3, plans to use the fresh capital to expand its retail footprint, strengthen refurbishment capabilities, invest in technology infrastructure and develop an integrated omnichannel platform.
Founded in 2018 by Saket Saurav and Avneet Singh, ReFit Global operates across refurbishment, distribution, retail and related consumer channels. The company is building an integrated ecosystem for refurbished electronics by bringing together sourcing, refurbishment, distribution and retail.
The latest funding comes as India's organised refurbished electronics market continues to develop, with companies increasingly combining certified devices, warranties, trade-ins, refurbishment infrastructure and direct-to-consumer sales.
ReFit Global's Distribution Network
ReFit Global has built a large B2B distribution network across India.
The company claims to work with more than 75 distributors, over 2,000 wholesalers and more than 50,000 retail outlets. Its network spans metropolitan centres as well as Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
This distribution infrastructure gives ReFit access to customers beyond the largest Indian cities. For refurbished electronics, that reach can be particularly relevant because purchasing behaviour and availability of certified devices can vary significantly between markets.
Alongside its B2B network, ReFit has expanded its physical retail presence through 12 ReFit Xpress outlets.
The company also sells through online marketplaces and offline retail channels while maintaining sourcing and sales relationships with platforms including Flipkart and Amazon, along with other offline and strategic channels.
Building an Omnichannel Refurbished Electronics Business
The company's latest funding will support its efforts to build an integrated omnichannel platform.
ReFit operates across several parts of the refurbished electronics value chain rather than focusing solely on consumer sales. Its operations include refurbishment, distribution and retail, allowing the company to control more stages of the process.
The company plans to expand both its B2B and direct-to-consumer initiatives.
This gives ReFit multiple routes to market. Its B2B distribution business provides access to wholesalers and retailers, while its physical outlets and online channels allow it to reach consumers directly.
The strategy is aimed at connecting these channels through a common technology and inventory infrastructure.
92% Refurbishment Yield
ReFit Global currently reports a 92% refurbishment yield.
The company also says it has repair capabilities extending up to L4, including advanced chip-level repairs. These capabilities are supported by technology-enabled processes covering device diagnostics, automated quality checks, grading, post-quality-control processes and inventory management.
For refurbished electronics, the quality of the refurbishment process directly affects the reliability and resale value of devices.
A structured diagnostic and grading system can also help create consistency across devices sourced from different channels. ReFit says its technology processes are designed to improve operational visibility and reliability across its refurbished inventory.
The company intends to further strengthen these capabilities using the new capital.
India's Refurbished Smartphone Market
ReFit's expansion comes as India's refurbished smartphone market continues to grow.
According to the source, refurbished smartphone volumes in India increased 13% year-on-year in the first half of 2026. The organised segment accounted for around 20% of the market during the period, indicating room for further formalisation.
The market includes a mix of established re-commerce companies and newer startups.
Cashify, ControlZ, GREST and Budli are among the companies expanding organised electronics re-commerce through approaches such as certified devices, warranties, trade-ins and direct-to-consumer channels.
Earlier this year, Vingo raised Rs 10 crore in seed funding led by IndiaQuotient. Yaantra, another electronics re-commerce company, was acquired by Flipkart as the e-commerce major sought to strengthen its refurbishment capabilities.
These developments point to growing activity around the refurbished electronics supply chain.
From Refurbishment to a Broader Consumer Ecosystem
ReFit Global's strategy goes beyond simply selling used electronics.
The company is attempting to connect refurbishment capabilities with distribution and retail infrastructure. Its network of distributors, wholesalers and retail outlets gives it an established route for moving refurbished products through the market.
The addition of ReFit Xpress stores provides a direct consumer channel, while its online marketplace relationships create another route for reaching buyers.
The company is now looking to bring these different parts of the business together through technology.
Its planned investment in technology infrastructure is intended to support diagnostics, quality control, grading and inventory management while improving visibility across its operations.
Fresh Capital for the Next Stage
The $1 million seed round gives ReFit additional capital to expand its footprint and capabilities.
The company plans to invest in retail expansion, refurbishment infrastructure, technology and its omnichannel platform. It also intends to grow its B2B and D2C operations across the refurbished electronics value chain.
For ReFit, the next challenge will be scaling these operations while maintaining refurbishment quality and reliable inventory across a large distribution network.
With more than 50,000 retail outlets claimed across its network and 12 ReFit Xpress stores, the company already has a broad physical presence. The new funding is aimed at building on that base and creating a more connected refurbished electronics business.
As India's organised re-commerce segment grows, ReFit is positioning itself between refurbishment, distribution and consumer retail rather than operating only as a marketplace.
The company's ability to scale its refurbishment yield, technology infrastructure and omnichannel distribution will determine how effectively it can capture the next phase of growth in India's refurbished electronics market.
