Chargepoly Secures €23 Million Funding

French EV charging startup Chargepoly has raised €23 million in a funding round led by Meridiam to accelerate the expansion of its charging infrastructure for electric truck fleets.

The investment was made through Meridiam's Green Impact Growth Fund, with participation from long-time investor Fideve Groupe.

The latest funding will support the company's international expansion and continued development of its charging platform.

Building Charging Infrastructure for Heavy-Duty EV Fleets

Founded in 2019 by Hadi Moussavi, Chargepoly develops charging infrastructure and energy management software specifically designed for electric trucks, buses, and commercial vehicle fleets.

Unlike conventional EV charging solutions, Chargepoly focuses on depot-based charging, where multiple heavy-duty vehicles must be charged efficiently within limited power capacity.

Its platform combines:

  • Modular DC fast-charging hardware

  • Smart energy management software (Lucie)

  • Power optimization across multiple charging points

  • Fleet charging management for logistics depots

The company's software dynamically distributes available power, allowing fleet operators to maximize existing grid capacity while reducing infrastructure costs.

Growing Presence Across International Markets

Chargepoly currently operates hundreds of DC fast chargers across:

  • France

  • United Kingdom

  • Canada

The company says its infrastructure supports the decarbonisation of more than one million kilometres of freight transport every month.

Its customer base includes:

  • CMA CGM

  • Groupe Rave

  • Nationex

Chargepoly has also validated its charging platform across more than 50 heavy-duty electric vehicle models, working alongside manufacturers including Renault Trucks, Volvo Trucks, and Daimler Truck.

Funding to Accelerate International Expansion

The new capital will be used to:

  • Expand into international markets

  • Enhance the Lucie charging management platform

  • Scale charging infrastructure for commercial fleets

  • Support growing demand for electric truck depots

The funding comes as fleet electrification accelerates and demand increases for charging solutions capable of supporting large commercial vehicle operations.
