Cascade Secures $3.5 Million to Grow AI Platform for AEC Firms
New York City-based construction technology startup Cascade has raised $3.5 million in funding to expand its AI-powered pursuit platform for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms.
The funding was backed by Andreessen Horowitz Speedrun, Ada Ventures, Blitzscaling Ventures, Indico Capital, shuckerVC, G2C Ventures, and Snowball VC.
Using AI to Help Firms Win More Projects
Founded by Hannia Zia and Joana Ferreira, two former Google operators, Cascade develops an AI platform that helps architecture, engineering, and construction companies identify project opportunities before they become public.
The platform predicts upcoming projects, scores opportunities based on a firm's likelihood of success, identifies relationship pathways through existing business networks, and helps detect drawing issues before construction begins.
Accelerating Industry Adoption
Cascade plans to use the new funding to accelerate customer adoption and strengthen its network across the AEC industry.
According to the company, customers working on projects including JFK Airport, LaGuardia Airport, luxury hotels, and nuclear facilities have used the platform to identify more than $10 billion in project opportunities.
