Delhi-based beauty and personal care startup Hyeglo Beauty has raised Rs 7 crore in a funding round led by Sauce, as it looks to expand its product portfolio and strengthen its presence in India's beauty market.
The round also saw participation from Giga Capital, Consumer Collective, Arjun Purkayastha of Reckitt and The Patient Capital.
According to the company, the fresh capital will be allocated towards research and development (R&D), new product launches, brand building and hiring.
Combining skincare and makeup
Launched in 2026 by Kanupriya Ahluwalia, Hyeglo Beauty is a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand developing beauty and personal care products that combine skincare ingredients with makeup.
The company focuses on formulations that incorporate skincare actives and pigments into makeup products. Its approach is built around combining cosmetic applications with ingredients commonly associated with skincare.
Hyeglo says its products use clinically tested ingredients and are developed through a skin science-led approach.
A skin science-led product strategy
The brand incorporates dermatological expertise and professional consultations into its product development process.
It also works with experts, including Dr Sonal Tibrewal Garg, an MD in Dermatology, to inform its formulations.
This approach places skincare science at the centre of Hyeglo's product positioning, with the company seeking to develop makeup products that also incorporate skincare-focused ingredients.
Funding to support product development and expansion
The Rs 7 crore funding will help Hyeglo invest in R&D, introduce new products, build its brand and expand its team.
For an early-stage D2C beauty brand, product development and brand building are important parts of establishing its market position. Hyeglo is looking to strengthen these areas while expanding its product portfolio.
The company has not disclosed revenue figures, sales volumes, valuation or specific product launch timelines.
With Sauce leading the latest funding round, Hyeglo plans to build on its skin science-led positioning and expand its presence in the beauty and personal care segment.
