Noida-based fitness startup OBSESS has raised approximately Rs 3 crore in an angel funding round as it looks to expand its partnerships, strengthen its ecosystem and use technology to connect different parts of India's fitness and wellness industry.

The round saw participation from Centricity co-founder Pushpendra Singh, Amit Goel and Harshit Vij.

According to the company, the fresh capital will be used to strengthen partnerships, expand its ecosystem and leverage technology to build a more connected fitness experience.

Building a connected fitness ecosystem

Launched in March 2026 by Tushar Sharma and Yash Kumar, OBSESS is developing an integrated platform that brings together gyms, sports facilities, professional trainers, nutrition solutions and fitness products.

The startup is targeting fragmentation in India's fitness and wellness industry. Gyms, trainers, sports venues, nutrition experts and fitness brands frequently operate independently, leaving consumers to discover and access these services through separate channels.

OBSESS aims to address this gap through a technology-driven marketplace that brings multiple fitness and wellness services together.

Its platform connects users with sports venues, fitness centres, coaches, nutrition and wellness brands, and related services.

Three platforms serving different parts of fitness

OBSESS has introduced separate technology platforms designed for consumers, gym operators and sporting event organisers.

Obsess Play Partner allows users to discover and book sports venues. The platform also incorporates rewards through features such as Obsess Coins.

Obsess Gym Partner provides digital and operational tools for gym operators, helping bring gym-related services into the company's connected ecosystem.

Obsess Event Partner focuses on sporting events, offering ticketing, registration and participant management solutions. Its applications include events such as marathons and cycling competitions.

Together, these platforms are intended to connect different participants in the fitness ecosystem rather than focusing exclusively on gym discovery or membership services.

Funding to support ecosystem expansion

The angel funding will support OBSESS as it works to build partnerships and expand the services available through its platform.

The company has not disclosed a detailed breakdown of the funding allocation, specific expansion targets or the number of users and partners currently operating on its platform.

Its broader proposition is built around bringing fitness discovery, venue bookings, gym operations and sporting event management into a connected technology ecosystem.

With its latest funding, OBSESS plans to strengthen this network and develop the technology supporting its services.
