Using AI to Improve Recycling and Circular Economy Insights
Greyparrot's AI-powered camera systems, known as Analyzers, are installed above sorting belts in recycling facilities across more than 20 countries.
The systems identify discarded objects in real time by recognizing their material, product, and brand, transforming waste streams into actionable data.
The company's Deepnest platform enables organizations to analyze packaging performance after disposal, helping businesses optimize product design and meet regulatory requirements.
Greyparrot's technology is used by recycling companies including WM, Circular Services, Veolia, Biffa, and FCC, while consumer brands such as Unilever, L'Oréal, and Kenvue use its insights to improve packaging sustainability.
The platform also provides policymakers with data to support initiatives such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and national waste audits.
Supporting Global Expansion
The newly raised capital will be used to expand Greyparrot's global network of Analyzer systems, grow its waste intelligence dataset, and scale its platform.
The company aims to help prevent more than one million tons of waste by 2030 through improved recycling efficiency and data-driven waste management.
