Gnani.ai Raises Rs 68 Crore (approx $7.17M) in Series B Led by Aavishkaar Capital

Gnani.ai, a voice-first generative AI company, has raised Rs 68 crore (approximately $7.17 million) in a Series B funding round led by Aavishkaar Capital. Notably, this marks the company’s first funding round in 2026.
According to regulatory filings, the company approved the allotment of 1,647 compulsory convertible preference shares (CCPS) at an issue price of Rs 4,12,291.79 per share to raise the total amount.
Valuation Sees Significant Increase
Following the latest investment, Gnani.ai’s valuation has increased to around Rs 818 crore (about $87 million). In comparison, the company was valued at Rs 204 crore in its previous funding round. This reflects a substantial jump in valuation within a relatively short period.
Planned Use of Funds
The company plans to use the newly raised capital to strengthen its core technology and scale operations. Specifically, it will focus on:
Enhancing its voice AI platform
Expanding product capabilities
Increasing its enterprise presence in domestic and global markets
Company Background and Offerings
Founded in 2016 by Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj, Gnani.ai builds voice-first AI solutions for enterprises. Its platform enables businesses to automate customer interactions across multiple channels, including voice, chat, and messaging.
In addition, the company offers a no-code, omnichannel AI suite. This includes features such as conversational automation, agent assistance, voice biometrics, and analytics. As a result, enterprises can improve customer experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
Previous Funding and Financial Performance
Earlier, in July 2024, Gnani.ai raised Rs 30 crore (around $4 million) in its Series A round from Info Edge Ventures.
The company has also reported growth in its financial performance. In FY25, its revenue increased to Rs 53.87 crore from Rs 23.09 crore in FY24. Moreover, Gnani.ai turned profitable, reporting a net profit of Rs 3.19 crore, compared to a loss of Rs 51 lakh in the previous fiscal year.
