Milan-based travel health platform Doctorsa has raised €1 million in a funding round led by PranaVentures, with additional participation from Vento and 40Jemz Ventures.
The fresh capital will help the company strengthen its presence in existing markets. In addition, Doctorsa plans to accelerate its international expansion as demand for accessible healthcare services continues to grow among global travellers.
Funding Supports International Growth
The latest investment also marks another milestone for PranaVentures. Following this deal, the venture capital firm has completed 20 investments through its first fund. Moreover, it has recorded three exits within less than five years of operations.
Doctorsa Connects Travellers With Local Doctors
Founded by Nadia Neytcheva and Francesco Maria Serino, Doctorsa operates a digital platform that connects travellers with licensed doctors in more than 40 countries.
Currently, the platform offers access to a network of over 550 doctors. Users can book video consultations, receive clinical guidance, and obtain medical prescriptions where local regulations permit.
On-Demand Medical Consultations
Unlike many healthcare platforms, Doctorsa does not require subscriptions or membership plans. Instead, users describe their medical concerns through the platform and receive real-time responses from available doctors in the country they are visiting.
Once a doctor is selected, consultations begin immediately and are conducted in English. Pricing starts from €20, making the service accessible for travellers seeking quick medical assistance abroad.
