Claros Technologies Secures $55 Million in Series B Funding

Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Claros Technologies has raised $55 million in Series B funding to accelerate the commercialization of its PFAS destruction technologies.

The round was led by Treehouse Family Capital LLC, with participation from Daikin America, Veralto, Bush Foundation, Nord Asset Management, Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, and existing investors.

Led by CEO Michelle Bellanca, Claros Technologies develops integrated solutions for the destruction and analysis of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), commonly referred to as "forever chemicals."

Advancing Permanent PFAS Mitigation

Claros Technologies offers an integrated platform that combines its proprietary ClarosTechUV PFAS Destruction System with ISO/IEC-accredited analytical laboratory services through ClarosLabs.

The company's technology is designed to permanently destroy long-chain, short-chain, and ultra-short-chain PFAS compounds while also providing detection, quantification, and exposure assessment services.

Its solutions support industries where PFAS remain critical, including semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare.

Supporting Global Commercialization

The newly raised capital will be used to:

  • Accelerate the global commercialization of the ClarosTechUV PFAS Destruction System

  • Expand ClarosLabs

  • Strengthen manufacturing and operational capabilities

  • Meet growing demand from industrial manufacturers, remediation firms, utilities, and government agencies

The investment supports the company's efforts to address increasing global demand for permanent PFAS mitigation technologies.
