Array Labs Secures Additional $21 Million in Strategic Investment

Redwood City, California-based Array Labs has raised an additional $21 million in an oversubscribed strategic investment round.

The investment was anchored by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, with continued participation from Catapult Ventures, Kompas VC, and Y Combinator.

The funding follows Array Labs' Series A financing announced in January 2026.

Alongside the investment, Array Labs and Mitsubishi Electric have entered into a strategic partnership to develop and commercialize satellite-based maritime and aircraft tracking services for defense and security customers across the Asia-Pacific region.

Expanding Space-Based Intelligence Capabilities

Array Labs is developing a coordinated fleet of radar satellites designed to provide continuously updated intelligence about the Earth's terrain, infrastructure, and activity.

Its technology combines formation flying and multistatic radar capabilities to enable advanced Airborne Moving Target Indicator (AMTI) services that can detect and track moving objects regardless of weather or lighting conditions.

The partnership with Mitsubishi Electric brings together Array Labs' satellite technology with Mitsubishi Electric's expertise in satellite systems, manufacturing, and long-standing relationships with defense and government organizations across Asia-Pacific.

Supporting Defense and Security Deployments

The strategic investment and partnership will support the commercialization of satellite-based maritime and aircraft tracking solutions for defense and security applications.

According to the company, Array Labs has already validated its core formation-flying and multistatic radar technologies and has secured research and development contracts with DARPA, the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Air Force.

Led by Co-Founder and CEO Andrew Peterson, Array Labs continues to advance its space-based intelligence platform for government and defense customers.
