Abstract Secures $25 Million in Funding
San Francisco-based cybersecurity startup Abstract has raised $25 million in funding to expand its composable security operations platform and accelerate product development.
The round was co-led by Cheyenne Ventures and AVP, with participation from Olive Hill Ventures, Crosslink Capital, and Rally Ventures.
The latest investment brings Abstract's total funding to nearly $50 million.
Led by CEO Colby DeRodeff, the company develops a streaming-first security operations platform that helps organizations improve threat detection, investigation, and response while integrating AI into security workflows.
Modernizing Security Operations with AI
Abstract's platform is designed around a streaming-first architecture that enables organizations to process security data in real time.
The solution performs threat detections directly within streaming data, routes information to existing tools and schemas, and incorporates AI capabilities through Astro AI to support security operations teams.
The platform is available through the AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Azure Marketplace, and Google Cloud Marketplace, allowing organizations to integrate it into existing cloud environments.
Supporting Platform Expansion
The newly raised funding will be used to expand the company's operations and further develop its composable security platform as demand for AI-powered cybersecurity solutions continues to grow.
