Summary

The International Card Services (ICS) FP&A team leads end-to-end forecasting and financial planning, providing decision support to senior Finance leaders through P&L reports and analyses. This role focuses on developing insightful financial analyses, improving forecasting models, and driving Finance transformation through GenAI, automation, and advanced analytics.

The International Card Services (ICS) FP&A team leads the end-to-end forecasting and financial planning processes for the ICS segment, providing decision support to senior Finance leaders by producing P&L reports and analyses, bringing forward analytical insights, and carrying out thorough financial planning. The main focus of the role will be developing insightful financial analyses and framework across the ICS FP&A team, improving forecasting and planning models, and preparing and presenting materials for ICS Finance & Business Leadership.

In addition, the role will play a key part in driving Finance transformation through the adoption of GenAI, automation, and advanced analytics, enabling more efficient processes, enhanced business insights, and improved decision support.

The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and modelling skills, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across organization

Responsibilities

  • Detailed review of the ICS P&L, along with variance analysis and bringing out on identifying key insights and risks/opportunities in the P&L

  • Support and lead the Annual and Long-Range planning processes

  • Utilize broad set of analytical tools, techniques and data sources to drive outcomes

  • Independently work with partners to deliver on insightful and valuable performance analysis with actionable insights

  • Partner with multiple stakeholders across BU FP&A, Market & Lead Financial Officer (LFO) teams, FDS and Controllership teams and provide consultative and independent finance decision support to business partners on various initiatives

  • Work across the organization, linking with key partners across ICS LFO teams to incorporate strategic insights and local knowledge into long term analytic processes

Qualifications

  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, along with the ability to drive analytical output aimed at identifying trends, developing key insights

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Solid working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Think cell and TM1 ; experience in data modelling is highly preferred

  • Strong understanding of the P&L and Card economics

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to story tell through data

  • Highly motivated and intellectually curious

  • Team player, strong collaboration and relationship building skills

  • Flexibility to deal with change in a fast-paced environment, enthusiastic and able to perform under pressure to meet deadlines with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
