Commercial Real Estate Analyst Manager

Grandbridge Real Estate Capital is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Analyst Manager to oversee real estate analysis within loan production offices and provide high-level analytical and consultative support for commercial real estate mortgage transactions. The role involves loan analysis, underwriting support, analyst supervision, market research, borrower and lender relationships, and transaction management through closing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the commercial real estate analysis function across loan production offices.

  • Provide analytical support for preliminary and final mortgage loan applications, submissions, underwriting, approvals, and closings.

  • Manage analyst workloads, quality of work, training, and development.

  • Support corporate staff in managing analyst functions.

  • Analyze complex commercial real estate properties, financial situations, leases, income, expenses, and borrower financial statements.

  • Calculate and assess Net Operating Income and evaluate properties against market standards and lender requirements.

  • Analyze borrower legal structures and financial information.

  • Gather and evaluate information from property owners, borrowers, lenders, tenants, and third-party providers.

  • Inspect properties and document physical and economic conditions through photographs, notes, maps, and market observations.

  • Research commercial real estate trends, market surveys, and industry publications and communicate relevant findings.

  • Prepare mortgage loan submissions and related documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Order, track, and analyze appraisals, environmental and engineering studies, credit reports, demographic reports, and other third-party documentation.

  • Review appraisals for compliance with lender requirements and communicate findings to lender representatives.

  • Track committed transactions through closing and obtain additional information from borrowers as required.

  • Work with producers, borrowers, and lenders to obtain loan quotes and negotiate applications, commitments, and closing requirements.

  • Attend borrower and lender meetings and industry events to build and maintain relationships.

  • Represent Grandbridge Real Estate Capital at commercial real estate industry functions.

  • Provide advice on transaction strategies, lending parameters, interest rates, and other real estate finance considerations.

  • Perform other duties related to commercial real estate lending as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent education and training.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a commercial real estate analyst, broker, leasing agent, property manager, or equivalent.

  • Completion of the Mortgage Bankers Association Commercial Real Estate Finance Underwriting Seminar and Appraisal Institute Courses 110, 120, and 310.

  • CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute.

  • Proficiency with commercial real estate analysis software such as Argus.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other basic computer applications.

  • Familiarity with contact databases, geographic mapping tools, digital imaging, internet research, photography equipment, and document preparation tools.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to supervise, organize, and direct others.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments independently with minimal direction.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, borrowers, lenders, and external partners.

  • Willingness and ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
