Summary

The Account Executive will manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. This role supports the finance team in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with statutory requirements, and assisting with financial closing activities.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support the finance team in maintaining compliance and smooth business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, good knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting entries, bookkeeping, and ledger maintenance.

  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and reconcile vendor/customer accounts.

  • Maintain bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow records.

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

  • Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement management.

  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.

  • Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal stakeholders when required.

  • Generate MIS reports and assist management with financial data analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Good knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and accounting software.

  • Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and coordination abilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fresher, recent BCOM qualified.

  • Semi-qualified CA / CMA / MBA Finance candidates can be considered.
