Role overview
Summary
This Analyst role is part of the HFS-IS team in Chennai, responsible for processing subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers for Hedge Funds, primarily for Asian clients. The position also involves inputting and generating reports for regulatory filings, ensuring accurate and timely NAV reporting.
Position Purpose
Work as a member of the HFS-IS team in Chennai, responsible for processing Subscriptions, Redemptions, Switches and Transfers for Hedge Funds in which Asian clients invest. The role also involves generating reports and supporting regulatory filings.
Key Responsibilities
Gain complete knowledge of HFS processes and related functions, including Custody, FDS, NAV and Corporate Actions.
Develop SME-level expertise across HFS processing for all funds.
Collect orders and ensure completeness and accuracy.
Verify client signatures and perform required checks on order forms.
Prepare and input orders into BP2S systems and perform trade input/checking in the BP2S core system.
Follow up on issues with spoke teams and clients.
Perform control procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance.
Generate daily and monthly reports for clients and support regulatory reporting.
Handle ad-hoc requests from clients and other BP2S locations.
Meet quality and timeliness SLAs with zero incidents on assigned activities.
Monitor and follow up on partial payments, escalating unresolved breaks to supervisors.
Monitor group mailboxes and respond efficiently to queries.
Support additional duties during month-end, the first/last week of the month and system downtime.
Plan leave in advance in line with GSO policies and manage unplanned leave responsibly.
