Terra Mobility Secures $40 Million in Funding

Montreal-based Terra Mobility has raised $40 million in funding to accelerate the growth of its AI-powered ground transportation platform.

The round was led by Vista Credit Partners.

Terra Mobility operates a global travel technology ecosystem that combines consumer travel marketplaces with enterprise software for ground transportation operators.

Expanding AI-Powered Travel Technology

The company provides infrastructure for ground travel through:

  • Consumer marketplaces: Busbud, Buson, and Recorrido

  • TerraOS, its enterprise operating system

TerraOS offers:

  • Ticketing

  • Inventory management

  • AI-powered revenue management

  • Demand forecasting

  • Distribution

  • Integrated e-commerce

The platform is designed to help transportation operators optimize operations while improving traveler access to bus and ground transport services.

Supporting Growth Across Global Markets

Terra Mobility said it will use the new funding to:

  • Accelerate the TerraOS product roadmap

  • Expand AI capabilities

  • Strengthen its marketplace presence across key regions

  • Pursue selective strategic acquisitions across the ground travel ecosystem

According to the company, it currently:

  • Operates across 26 countries

  • Connects more than 100 million travelers annually

  • Works with over 4,000 transportation operators across 190+ countries

  • Supports approximately 300 operators using its enterprise software platform
