Tekst Raises $11.5M in Series A Funding for AI Process Intelligence

Tekst, a startup focused on process intelligence for agentic AI systems, has raised $11.5 million in a Series A funding round.

The investment round was led by Elephant, with participation from Entourage.

The company said it plans to use the fresh capital to expand its workforce, strengthen its product capabilities, and support international growth. Tekst expects to increase its team size from 35 employees to 70 by the end of 2026. Most of the new hiring will focus on engineering and go-to-market roles.

Founded and led by Wouter Janssen, Tekst develops an AI-powered process intelligence platform designed to help enterprises understand and automate operational workflows.

Focus on Process Intelligence

Tekst’s platform observes digital workflows across emails, documents, system events, approvals, and exceptions. Based on that information, the system reconstructs how work moves across teams and software platforms.

The company said the platform also identifies the context behind operational decisions. This includes understanding approval requirements, exception handling, customer-specific processes, and task completion standards within a business.

In addition, Tekst enables AI agents to operate within those workflows using the contextual understanding generated by the platform.

Expansion Plans

With the new funding, the company plans to deepen its process intelligence technology and improve the AI agent capabilities built on top of the platform.

Tekst also aims to expand integrations with enterprise systems and increase its presence in international markets over the coming years.
