Taktile, a New York-based decision automation platform focused on financial services, has raised $110 million in a Series C funding round.
The investment was led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Existing investors including Balderton Capital, Index Ventures, Tiger Global, Y Combinator, and Dig Ventures also participated in the round.
The company plans to use the funding to strengthen its AI-powered solutions for banking and insurance institutions. In addition, it aims to expand its presence across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
Focus on AI-Driven Financial Decisioning
Founded in 2020 by Maik Taro Wehmeyer and Maximilian Eber, Taktile develops decision automation software for banks, fintech companies, and insurers.
The platform helps financial institutions automate operational and risk-related decisions without relying heavily on legacy infrastructure or complex coding systems. These decisions may include credit assessments, fraud checks, onboarding processes, and compliance workflows.
According to the company, its platform combines AI capabilities with industry-specific tools designed for financial services use cases.
Expansion Plans Across Global Markets
Taktile said the latest funding will support product development and international growth efforts. The company is also expected to invest further in AI applications tailored for regulated financial environments.
As financial institutions continue adopting automation technologies, companies such as Taktile are focusing on improving operational efficiency while reducing manual decision-making processes.
