Lissun Raises Rs 48 Cr Series A to Expand Child Development Care

Health-tech company Lissun has raised Rs 48 crore in a Series A funding round led by Colossa Ventures, with participation from Physis Capital and existing investor RPSG Capital Ventures.

The round also saw participation from Ivycap Ventures, Rainmatter, Multiply Ventures and SucSEED Ventures, along with new investors New Age India Fund and Beyond Capital Ventures.

Lissun said the fresh capital will be used to expand its Sunshine by LISSUN child development centres, develop AI-led solutions and strengthen clinical processes across its network.

The company focuses on children with special needs and developmental delays, combining physical care centres with digital platforms and technology-enabled tools.

Its Sunshine by LISSUN network currently operates 25 centres and delivers more than 10,000 therapy sessions every month. The company said the business has grown fourfold over the past year.

Founded by Krishna Veer Singh and Tarun Gupta, Lissun is building a single-specialty child development care ecosystem that brings together therapists, physical centres, digital products and AI-enabled solutions.

Krishna Veer Singh, Co-founder and CEO of Lissun, said technology has been central to the company's vision, with its existing AI tools supporting therapists and parents. The company plans to develop proprietary AI-led solutions aimed at improving access to developmental care for children who currently lack quality services.

Lissun plans to expand its physical network from 25 centres to 50 centres by next year. Its digital products are also targeted at reaching more than 10 lakh children over the coming years.

The company believes combining technology with clinical expertise can help make developmental care more accessible and consistent for children and families.

The latest funding also strengthens the backing from existing investors. RPSG Capital Ventures is increasing its investment in the company, while Colossa Ventures, Physis Capital and the other participating investors are backing Lissun's expansion and technology plans.

With the new capital, Lissun will focus on expanding its centre network, strengthening clinical processes and developing AI-led platforms as it works toward building a larger child development care ecosystem across India.
