Peeko Raises Over $7M in Series A Funding Led by Chiratae Ventures
Bengaluru-based babycare quick commerce startup Peeko has raised Rs 67.4 crore, or over $7 million, in a Series A funding round led by Chiratae Ventures, as the company looks to expand its technology, product assortment and quick-commerce footprint.
The round also saw participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and angel investors. The latest fundraise comes about a year after Peeko secured $3.2 million in an earlier funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners.
Founded in 2025 by Chetan Sharma, Abhijit Gairola and Vivek Khetan, Peeko operates a vertical quick commerce platform focused specifically on baby and kids-care products. The platform aims to deliver essentials within 60 minutes and offers products across categories including apparel, diapers, toys, baby food, baby gear, accessories and other consumables.
Peeko said the latest capital will be used to invest in technology and build a broader “parenting partner” proposition alongside its commerce business. The company is looking to position itself as more than a delivery platform by combining specialised product selection with services designed around the needs of parents.
Since its launch, Peeko says more than one lakh parents have shopped on the platform. The startup also claims that its business has grown nearly two-fold every quarter over the past six months, highlighting its expansion in the specialised babycare commerce segment.
The company has significantly expanded its product assortment during this period. Peeko started with around 6,000 SKUs and now offers between 27,000 and 30,000 SKUs across apparel and accessories, toys and learning products, baby gear and consumables.
Its average order value currently stands at around Rs 1,000, with apparel, toys and baby gear accounting for a significant share of its business.
Peeko currently operates three dark stores in Bengaluru, covering around 55% of the city. The company plans to expand its dark-store network to six locations by the end of 2026 before entering two additional cities in 2027.
The startup's expansion comes as specialised quick-commerce platforms emerge around specific consumer categories. Rather than competing across a broad range of everyday products, these platforms are focusing on deeper assortments and services tailored to particular customer needs.
Baby and kids-care is one such emerging segment. Parents regularly purchase products ranging from diapers and food to clothing, toys and baby equipment, giving specialised platforms an opportunity to combine product depth with faster fulfilment.
Peeko is not the only startup pursuing this opportunity. Qzi, another specialised platform focused on children's products, recently raised $6.2 million in a Series A round led by RTP Global, following an earlier $3.3 million seed round.
For Peeko, the latest Series A funding provides capital to expand its technology, assortment and fulfilment infrastructure. Its planned expansion across Bengaluru and into new cities will test whether its specialised approach to quick commerce can scale while maintaining the convenience and product selection that its model is built around.
