Centricity Raises ₹280 Cr Series A to Scale Wealth Management Across India and Global Markets

Gurugram-based wealth management company Centricity has raised ₹280 crore, approximately $30 million, in a Series A funding round led by SMBC Asia Rising Fund.

Existing investors including Lightspeed India Partners, Burman Family Office, RAAY Investments, Stride Venture and Innoven Capital also participated in the round.

Founded in 2022, Centricity provides wealth management services to financial advisors, family offices and high-net-worth individuals across India and international markets.

Scaling Private Wealth and NRI Services

Centricity plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology platform, expand its distribution network and grow its private wealth and NRI businesses.

The company plans to add more than 50 private bankers in India and another 35–40 NRI bankers.

Its international expansion includes offerings through GIFT City in India and DIFC in Dubai.

A Growing Wealth Management Platform

Centricity operates through businesses including One Digital, Invictus Private Wealth and Centricity Global Private Client.

Its platform provides access to investment products including mutual funds, insurance, bonds, portfolio management services, alternative investment funds and global investment opportunities.

The company currently manages more than ₹15,000 crore in assets under management and works with more than 20,000 partners and approximately 100,000 investors.

Centricity also serves more than 250 family offices and has a workforce of over 800 employees.

Revenue Growth and Expansion

Centricity's operating revenue more than tripled to ₹61.26 crore in FY25 from ₹19.02 crore in FY24.

However, the company's loss also widened during the period, increasing from ₹9.31 crore to ₹31.72 crore.

Centricity expects to generate more than ₹150 crore in revenue during FY27.

The company has previously raised $4 million in 2022 and $18 million in 2024.

India's Wealthtech Market

Centricity's latest funding comes as investors continue to back India's wealth management and wealthtech sector.

Indian wealthtech startups raised more than $634 million across 51 deals involving 39 startups during 2024 and 2025, according to data compiled by Entrackr.

Other companies including Neo Group, Veriqus Group, AssetPlus, Wint Wealth, Sahi and Bachatt have also raised significant capital in 2026.

Centricity's next phase will focus on expanding its banker network, strengthening its technology infrastructure and growing its presence among private wealth and NRI customers.

The larger opportunity is the continued professionalisation and digitisation of India's wealth management market, particularly as demand grows for more sophisticated investment products and global wealth services.
